Community Guidelines

CJP is a platform where ordinary people raise issues that the system ignored. To keep it useful for everyone — and lawful — please follow these rules.

Speak honestly

  • Post what you know. Don't embellish, invent, or speculate as fact.
  • Distinguish your experience from rumours you heard.
  • If you're proven wrong, edit the post and say so.

Don't name names recklessly

  • Naming a private individual without evidence can be defamatory. Use initials, role descriptions, or generic terms unless you have documentary proof.
  • Public officials acting in their public role can be named.
  • Companies and institutions can be named.

Don't share personal data

  • No phone numbers, ID numbers, account numbers, or home addresses of others.
  • Blur faces of non-public individuals in evidence photos.
  • If you must share private data with a moderator (for a legal case), use the report tool — not a public post.

Help, don't pile on

  • Comments are for support, advice, and resources — not for harassment.
  • No incitement to violence or intimidation, even against bad actors.
  • Share helplines, legal aid, and procedures when you know them.

No hate, no spam, no campaigns

  • Hate speech targeting caste, religion, gender, sexuality, or disability is removed and the account banned.
  • Coordinated political or commercial campaigns are removed.
  • Spam, affiliate links, and giveaways are removed.

Anonymity is a shield, not a weapon

Anonymous posting protects whistleblowers and abuse survivors. It is not a free pass to defame. Posts that violate these guidelines will be removed regardless of whether they are signed or anonymous.

How moderation works

  1. Every post is auto-screened for banned terms and obvious spam.
  2. A human moderator reviews each post before it appears publicly.
  3. Any user can report a post; reports go to moderator queue.
  4. Repeated violations lead to account suspension.

Appeals

If a post is removed or your account is suspended, email cockroachjantaapartylive@gmail.com with the post URL and a short explanation. A different moderator will re-review.
